Veda Rakshana Nidhi Trust, Chennai-33 conducted various Vedic Examinations at Srimatam, Kanchipuram. The Poorthi Examinations (Final examinations) for various levels in the different branches of the Vedas were held at Srimatam from 12th to 16th May 2010. Students from various patasalas from different states took up the examinations.
Students and the Adhyapaks chanted the Vedas in the presence of His Holiness Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji. His Holiness had detailed interactions with them and gave prasadam to the students. Sambhavana was given to the students.
